Senior Practice Manager

Ryan Cross, PE, is Actalent Services' Transmission practice manager. He has more than 23 years of experience designing and leading projects for electric utilities. Projects included substations, protection and controls, distribution (overhead and underground) and transmission (overhead and underground). Voltages range from 4.16 kV to 345 kV. Areas of expertise include substation design, underground transmission line, FAC-008 site inspections, project management and NERC compliance. As the Transmission practice manager, Ryan focuses on engineering and project management team development and training to ensure quality and cost efficiency. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology, 2001 and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University. He is a licensed professional engineer in 10 states. He is a senior member of the IEEE — Power Engineering Society and a member of both the National Society of Professional Engineers and Missouri Society of Professional Engineers.
