Brooke Hirsch

Senior Manager, Lab Services

Brooke Hirsch, PhD, is a Senior Manager in Actalent’s Laboratory Services group. Brooke has over 20 years of research, laboratory services, project management, and leadership experience in Life Sciences. Before joining Actalent in 2019, she was Vice President of Operations for a specialized assay development services company, where she served for five years. Her responsibilities included oversight of a histology and immunohistochemistry laboratory, a project management team, technical operations for process engineering, product development, and direction of scientific teams. Brooke’s previous experience includes work at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, including five years as core Facility Manager, three years as a Postdoctoral Fellow and five years of Doctoral research. She holds certifications in Project Management from PMI, Lean Management, and is an ASQ certified Six Sigma Green Belt. She has published scholarly articles and abstracts in the Journal of Biological Chemistry and in the American Association of Cancer Research, among others, and authored a number of patent applications. Brooke earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Colorado State University and her PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
