New integrated system enhances Actalent’s commitment to rigorous compliance and world-class client service

Hanover, Md. (February 27, 2025) – Actalent Services, a global leader in engineering and sciences services and a business unit within Actalent, today announced the launch of its international quality management system (QMS). Certified for compliance by DNV, one of the world's leading independent certification bodies, the new comprehensive and centralized QMS links systems across the U.S., Canada, and India, ensuring Actalent meets rigorous compliance and service standards for multinational clients across the industries we serve.

A formalized business management system with DNV as its centralized registrar, Actalent's QMS maintains processes, procedures, and responsibilities to meet customer and regulatory requirements. A globally integrated QMS enables easy document access and management to ensure consistency, effectiveness, and efficiency, ultimately helping Actalent lower costs, prevent errors, and preserve resources while maintaining regulatory compliance standards. The newly developed QMS removes regional silos, enabling the system to define further, refine, and control processes, which helps drive performance, and collaboration, and enhances client satisfaction.

The new QMS is aligned with globally recognized industry regulations, guidelines and quality standards outlined by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Actalent maintains QMS certification and compliance with ISO 9001:2015 (the world's best-known international standard for QMS), ISO 13485:2016, ISO 27001:2022 and AS9100 D. All certifications were successfully audited by DNV, during the completion of our global QMS transformation process in 2024 with no major findings.
