Peter DeSanto

Chemical Engineer

Peter DeSanto is a Chemical Engineer within Actalent’s Laboratory Services group. Peter has a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Delaware, with a focus on mixed-metal oxides for catalysis and structural characterization. Peter developed high-throughput platforms for chemical formulation and testing prior to spending 15+ years as an analytical scientist and lab manager. He has expertise in laboratory, facilities, and project management; developing analytical solutions for characterizing chemicals and materials; reverse engineering; and regulatory compliance. Peter works with our sales and technical teams to ensure that our technical solutions fulfill our clients’ stringent demands. His current focus is helping our clients meet deadlines for reporting and eventually eliminating PFAS from their products and processes.
