Our client had a pipeline of new medicines awaiting clinical trials in the United States. However, they didn’t have enough managers to oversee every study onsite. They also lacked the agility to effectively reassign personnel as trials ended and new ones began. Unless the client found a solution to fill these gaps, important medicines would be delayed from reaching the market.

Actalent embedded thirty-five clinical trial managers and associate directors to oversee and manage studies at multiple research sites across the United States.

Our trial managers lead clinical teams – comprised of both full-time client employees and Actalent consultants – that mirror the client's in-house teams. Beyond managing the technical directives of these clinical trials, our responsibilities also include onboarding and training new consultants, guiding their professional development, reducing or expanding teams as needed and re-deploying consultants when studies conclude.
