Rajasri Nuli not only has a strong technical background, but also a deep passion for martial arts and adventure. As an engineer, she brings precision and innovation to everything she does. Outside of work, Rajasri is a national-level Pencak Silat martial arts champion, demonstrating her commitment to mastering skills and performing at her best. When she's not engineering or practicing martial arts, she enjoys trekking and exploring the outdoors with the same determination she applies to her career and athletic endeavours.

Rajasri's Journey

Based in Nellore City, India, Rajasri holds a degree in electrical and electronics engineering. Her passion for technology, combined with Actalent's commitment to innovation, continuous learning, and career development, influenced her to join the company in 2023 as a senior test engineer. Rajasri now leads quality assurance efforts, ensuring that products meet the highest standards.

Areas of Expertise

At Actalent, Rajasri specializes in software testing and quality assurance with a focus on avionics testing. She leads and mentors team members, creates and implements detailed test plans, identifies and resolves defects, and collaborates with development teams to address issues. Rajasri's expertise includes manual, automated, and integration testing, driving effective problem-solving and successful projects.

"Taking on this role at Actalent has been both challenging and rewarding. The leadership and collaborative culture here have provided me with the support and resources to grow, making it easier to take on new responsibilities. I'm excited to contribute to innovative projects while mentoring a talented team, knowing our work helps push boundaries in technology," says Rajasri.

Achievement and Key to Success

One of Rajasri's proudest achievements at Actalent was managing multiple teams on a complex defense project that demanded rigorous performance testing. Her role in its successful launch has stood out as a significant accomplishment.

I engage in continuous learning through various courses and videos available on Udemy. Additionally, our managers assign us videos from our learning portal to keep us current on key skill development areas," says Rajasri.

"My keys to success are staying up-to-date with technological advancements, continuous learning, attention to detail, effective teamwork and communication—all essential for delivering high-quality results," she adds.

Balance: Life Beyond Work

Outside of work, Rajasri is passionate about Pencak Silat, a traditional martial art. Competing at the national level has fostered discipline, focus and resilience, which she applies in her professional life. She earned one gold and one bronze medal at the National Championships in 2020 and 2021.

Rajasri was drawn to Pencak Silat because of the way it combines physical discipline with mental focus, offering her a holistic path to personal growth and resilience. She says these qualities have seamlessly transferred into her professional life, helping her navigate challenges with a calm and determined mindset, while continuously striving for excellence.

Rajasri is also an avid traveler and trekking enthusiast. One of her favorite trips was the Sar Pass Trek in the Indian Himalayas, a 5-day adventure through diverse terrains—dense forests, alpine meadows and snowy passes. This trek offered a blend of natural beauty, physical challenge and cultural richness, providing a refreshing perspective and a deep connection with nature.

Q: What aspects of Actalent’s culture do you appreciate the most?

A: Actalent is a place of collaboration and innovation, which I love. The company encourages idea sharing and values every contribution, which drives projects forward and supports both personal and professional growth. The focus on continuous learning and development is particularly motivating for me, helping me lead the team and take on new challenges in my current role.

Q: How do you balance work and personal life?

A: I take advantage of Actalent's flexible work environment to pursue hobbies like Pencak Silat and trekking, which are crucial for my personal well-being. Effective time management and clear boundaries between work and personal time help me stay energized and productive in both areas.

In fact, we have a new program at Actalent called Actalent Explores, which encourages colleagues to learn, explore and pursue hobbies. Every month, we come together to try new activities and see if they can spark a passion. I appreciate how this program fosters an environment where pursuing interests outside of work is valued, which keeps us motivated and balanced.
